Micro-Learning Presentation Preparation

The mico-learning experience helps learners prior to giving a presentation. I took second place in the 7Taps session 10 challenge for innovative micro-learning. I enjoyed using 7Taps for its low cognitive load for the learner and ease of use.

Problem and Solution

Learners across industry struggle with public speaking skills and the nerves associated with getting up in front of an audience. The Wall Street Journal has ranked public speaking as a top fear for people regardless of background. However, the solution to this problem is often 1 on 1 coaching or an hours-long course.

I needed a way for learners to be able to understand why they were afraid and a quick solution that would create agency over their situation within minutes. This includes the moments before they had to speak. 7Taps turned out to be the perfect solution for both my academic and non-academic learners.
